We are home...
Got in late last night...spent the night in a hotel and back to work today...
I was spoiled by my mom..
Got to be the fun aunt and listen to the kids giggles...
Spent his birthday with my nephew and went to see my niece at school..
The littlest one is growing up very fast..
It's almost the end of another month....which is always a huge sigh of relief...
Christmas shopping must commence after this weekend and I think a Christmas Tree might be on the agenda for the weekend..
Lots of changes coming up at our house..including the departure of our house guests..
it's for the best and we did everything we could...
Sometimes you just have to let go..
It was a great weekend with the family and I love spending time with my mom...
Never enough, but we were definately able to relax and gain some perspective.
More on that when there aren't people looking over my shoulders
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. In all of my experiences in this crazy thing called life, I have realized that every single day one needs to laugh until you cry, savor every single moment and do one thing that makes someone else smile. The footprint you leave on this world is entirely up to you...I plan on walking next to as many people as possible.

"Sometimes you just have to let go..." Truer words were never spoken. Sounds like a wonderful time at your mom's.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a wonderful time with your family. You are doing the right thing. You tried and the ball was in her court. Good for you. You sound happier already! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Barb my friend, you DO sound happier already. "Sometimes you just have to let go" are actually really wise words, and at least you tried. Lovely that you had such a lovely time with your family, and I'm sure your mum loved having you around.
ReplyDeleteShe knew the rules and the timeline and in a very short period of time she couldn't even do that. You have to take care of you first, and you tried, that is evident - it's just too bad she can't benefit from how generous everyone is.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful time at your Mom's house. Sounds like a blast. Have fun shopping this weekend. We have to start too! Eeek!
We are all so pleased to detect the happiness in your post and Lord knows you needed that special time away. Here's hoping your December will be great as well.
