So, we were supposed to get a delivery of our refrigerator tomorrow.
We were supposed to get a call between 6 and 9 tonight to tell us when they were coming.
Guess what?
We didn't get a call.
Hubby called customer service and got no where with them.
I called customer service and the woman on the phone said "oh that's a local delivery, let me transfer you to the store"
I said- the store is closed and I need to know what time I need to be home tomorrow.
She couldn't help me.
I was beyond angry.
So I am using social media to get the word out.
Sears, who supposedly prides themselves on customer service, is losing with me tonight.
I will call them in the morning to find out what's going on.
I may or may not cancel our order, depending on their response to me.
Those margaritas are going to taste awfully good on Saturday.
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. In all of my experiences in this crazy thing called life, I have realized that every single day one needs to laugh until you cry, savor every single moment and do one thing that makes someone else smile. The footprint you leave on this world is entirely up to you...I plan on walking next to as many people as possible.

That can be frustrating, I understand. I know venting via social media helps immensely and perhaps you can call them in the morning [from work] and get the answer you need. Then you can be home in time.
ReplyDeleteIt sucks to live without a fridge. Ours went out Tuesday, two days after I had stocked it with $200 worth of meat, milk, juice, cheeses, eggs, etc. etc. By the time we realized it it was too late and we had to throw the whole stinky, swampy mess away. We've been eating yummy homemade veggie soup for three days until I can get back to the store, yet again. That & I want to make sure the repairman really did fix it. :)
Good luck! Oh, and if all else fails - take a personal day and lounge around in your jammies after you confirm their delivery time. It might be a waste of a paid day, but it might do you a world of good too, y'know?
My Sears story. We ordered a full sized upright freezer & set a delivery date. When the time came they had sold our freezer but offered another that had a dent in the rear. I thought no problem. On the day of the delivery it went passed the time so I called & found out the truck was somewhere an hour away, ran into a problem & could not tell me when to expect the delivery. I told them to act like they never saw me, We went to Lowes Home Improvement, picked out a freezer and it was delivered the next day on time. Never stepped inside Sears again.
